"Meter readings are usually fine"
Most of my meter readings seem close enough, but I’ve had a couple bills that felt a little off, so I ended up double-checking them lol. It’s not terrible or anything, I just wish it was more consistent and easier to see what changed from month to month.

"Escalation actually made a difference"
I had a billing issue that wasn’t really going anywhere at first, so I ended up filing a complaint through PSEG. After that it got escalated and someone called me the next day. They actually looked through the account, explained where the charge came from, and fixed the mistake. Took a bit of patience, but in the end it was handled well. 5 stars.

"Heads up: tech arrived way past the appointment window"
Just a warning if you’re booking with PSEG: don’t count too heavily on the appointment window they give you. I had a morning slot, but the tech showed up way later than expected.

I understand delays happen, but nobody really updated me until I called to ask what was going on. By the time he got there, I had already missed more work than I planned to.
The tech was polite and the service did get done, so that part was fine. But the waiting around with no clear communication was really frustrating, and PSEG needs to do a better job giving realistic arrival times.

"Trying to use PSEG for my account has..."
Trying to use PSEG for my account has been a pain. Some days I go to log in and it just sits there loading forever, or it tells me my password is wrong even though I know I typed it right.
Paying a bill should not feel this annoying, but it always seems like I have to reset something, refresh the page, or just give up and try again later. It works once in a while sure, but not often enough for me to actually count on it.

"Navigation feels confusing and a bit impersonal"
I eventually found what I was looking for, but it took more clicking around than I expected. The navigation isn’t terrible, just not always clear, and at times the whole experience made me feel more like a ticket number than an actual person trying to get something done

I mostly use pseg.com for autopay, and honestly, it’s been reliable so far. The payments go through when they’re supposed to, and I get the confirmation emails afterward. The site can be a little slow sometimes—not a huge deal—but for just paying the bill without having to think about it, it gets the job done.

"Starting service was easier than I expected"
I used pseg.com to start service after my move, and it was straightforward. "Got through way faster than I thought I would"
I called expecting to be stuck on hold for ages, because that’s usually how these things go, and I had already kind of mentally prepared myself to just leave the phone on speaker while I did other stuff. But to my surprise, the wait really wasn’t long at all today. I got through much quicker than expected, which made the whole thing feel a lot less annoying than I thought it would be.

"Just a heads up about the PSEG tech visit"
Just wanted to share my experience as a bit of a warning for anyone scheduling a PSEG tech visit. The tech did fix the issue, which I appreciate, but the whole interaction was frustrating. He seemed annoyed from the moment he arrived, barely explained what he was doing, and left without really answering my questions. If you have concerns or need things explained, be prepared to speak up because the customer service side of the visit was definitely lacking

I used pseg.com to report my power outage and only paid attention to the parts I needed. It took about a minute, I didn’t have to call anyone, and the updates started coming in right after. Simple overall.

"Power came back way sooner than I figured"
Our power went out after that nasty storm, and I’ll be honest, I immediately blamed PSEG in my head and assumed we’d be sitting in the dark all night. But they actually had updates posted on the site, and the power was back within a couple hours. I was relieved because I was already worrying about the food in the fridge, and the kids were starting to lose it. Credit where it’s due, they handled it quickly this time.

"Glad they fixed it before it became a bigger problem"
I had a billing issue on pseg.com and was a little worried it might cost me extra or turn into something I’d have to chase down for days. Support got back to me quickly and fixed it without making me go through a bunch of back and forth. Definitely relieved it was handled fast.

"Wish I’d started using the app sooner"
The app works well for paying my bill right from my phone. I kind of regret waiting so long to use it because it makes things a lot easier. The only downside is that logging in can be slow sometimes, which gets a little annoying, but overall it does what I need.

I requested service activation, but it didn’t happen when I was told it would. Had to call again just to find out what was going on. Not a huge disaster. Just frustrating and kind of annoying

"The installer did show up later than..."
The installer did show up later than the time I was expecting, which was a bit annoying because I had planned my day around it and ended up waiting around longer than I would have liked. That said, once he arrived, the actual installation was straightforward and didn’t take as much time as I thought it might. Everything seemed to be set up properly, and the smart meter has been working fine since then, so overall it was an okay experience, just not perfect because of the delay.

"Bill has been fair, but instructions could be clearer"
I’ve been using PSEG to keep track of my monthly bill, and overall it’s been fair for me. I haven’t noticed any big surprise jumps lately, and paying online is easy enough once you know where to go. I do wish some of the instructions were a little clearer, especially when you’re trying to figure out the next step without clicking around too much. Still, I like being able to check what I owe without having to call anyone, so I’m happy with it so far.

"Quick help when the power went out"
Had a power issue late in the evening and reported it on PSEG. I was surprised how fast the crew showed up, and they got everything safe quickly. You do wish the updates on the site came through a little faster, so I’d give it 4 stars, but the emergency response itself was really solid...

"I was a little embarrassed by the confusing rates"
The bills themselves have been okay, but I’ll admit I felt kind of embarrassed trying to figure out the rates. They just weren’t as clear as I expected, and I had to reread things a few times to understand what I was being charged for.

Maybe it’s just me, but I feel like I keep seeing unexpected charges pop up for no clear reason. It’s frustrating because I wasn’t expecting to pay anything extra, and this isn’t the first time it’s happened.
